Mid-drift Tops
11:37PM, September 29th, 2005
So it turns out my economics mid-session exam mark is 86.5%. That’s a high distinction. The average was around 60%.
How is it possible that I have enough time to be so incredibly talented, intelligent AND beautiful (not to mention modest)?
Now let’s all join hands and watch it turn to crap from now on.

Burnt Turkey
8:11PM, September 26th, 2005
CUT TO:
INT. ME'S HOME LATE NIGHT
MYA SLEEP sits silently in a darkened room. There is a slight orange glow bathing one side of SLEEP's face. Flour is dusted through SLEEP's hair, face and apron.
ME enters the door quietly and sneaks in, hanging up his coat. With his back to SLEEP, he is surprised to hear:
Hello, dear.
ME
Oh - hi.
MYA SLEEP
Nice of you to come home.
ME
Sorry I didn’t call. The others were going out for a few drinks after knocking off and I thought it would be rude not to join them.
MYA SLEEP
Typical. Never consider me.
ME
Oh Mya, don’t be like that. You didn’t go to any special effort for me, did you?
PIVOT around SLEEP in her chair to discover the light is coming from the open oven. A dark, burnt-turkey like figure is outlined by the oven’s glow.
… Oh.
——————————–
Scratch that - reverse it. I’m not exactly the most social person in the world, I like to be left alone a lot of the time to get my own stuff done, but I really should have joined the cast after rehearsal today to view a documentary. But it’s cold and raining, and I just knew Mya Sleep was baking something tasty for me at home. Can you blame me?

Everyone’s a Mrs.
8:10PM, September 24th, 2005
I’ve got a toothache, and although I’ve taken painkillers, I feel like I’m on fire and I think my head might spontaneously combust in around 4 and half minutes.
I’ve been posting photos to my flickr account. Enjoy those. I’ll keep padding that out.
I think I need a little lovin’ from Mrs. Fields to keep me happy. Maybe some Mrs. Mills as well.

Is anyone else finding the Flickr badge on the side of the site is slowing things down a bit? I might remove it if anyone else has troubles because they are all available by clicking on “photos” above anyway.

The Flikr badge doesn’t seem to be slowing down the loading for me.
If the average mark for your economics mid session exams was around 60%, does that mean that in a few years time, good economists (well, there’s an oxymoron) are going to be hard to find?

You do annoy me some. You stay up late, seem to get up early, have a social life that is more active then mine, do harder subjects, do more assignments, do all your theatre work, run this, find time to podcast, read books, listen to music, tinker on the web, spend ages on msn.
I swear - you have a clone, or a device that gives you more hours in the day

Some brilliance doesn’t require time to happen.
Of course, I’m just joking. I don’t read very much. I should.
