Oh gosh! On this morning’s Summer Series GMA with Bert, they replayed a clip of The Animals performing. They keyboardist/violinist looked like he was out of This Is Spinal Tap or something. At about 60 years of age, with his sagging upperarm flab bouncing around, quite clearly visable with his tight tanktop and ultra tight red vinyl pants, this parody of a rock musician appeared to be wearing a big long black headpeice, ala Ozzie Osbourne. Shocking.
Now i’m watching the softcore porn for preteens in the shape of summer school holidays non-rating periods television, such as the one with the invisable man in it. With all those women around, is it any wonder he wants to be invisable at times?

My christmas present from my parents arrived in the mail today - a new digital camera! It’s so wonderful, i’m smitten with it. So many settings - woo!
I went down to the beach with my brother, his girlfriend and our dog. Check out the photos in the appropriate section and a special video clip I took down there! How exciting!
Something else I *would* be smitten with is iTunes if only you could use the music store in Australia. So many musical theatre CDs i’d be downloading that are just a pain to find in the stores (you’d have to go to Sydney to find them).
I think I might go out vinyl shopping this week.

You know that episode of Seinfeld when Jerry eats the black and white cookie and it makes him sick?
Well, I just chowed down on a kingston (I think thats what they are called, small with chocolate cream stuff inside?) and its not sitting to well. I have a non-vomit streak of almost 10 years (easter 1994), and I don’t want to see it go.
“We’ve got to look to the cookie”.

Tonight we went out for a 70th birthday dinner for my grandfather. I sat with my cousins, Jenna and Jake. It’s funny that I remember both of their births. Makes me feel just a little mature.
They were both being silly and funny - I actually had a great time. The resturant was very uninspiring, but it was okay.
I’ll do some photo posting a bit later on - I’d like to attempt some writing now because I’ve been feeling so guilty about not doing any.

My parents gave me an alarm clock for christmas - its the older style with the loud and rapid ticking.
It has a very cool design, but it is extremely loud. I had to move it out of my bedroom last night because the sound resonates in my room and drives me crazy. Its now on my desk in here. However, whenever I hear it ticking, my mind thinks its a metronome, and I instantly dig up songs from the back of my mind with the same tempo and they take over my conscious mind. At first I don’t realise i’m doing it, until the song becomes more prominant and thats all I can think about.
I like the clock, but I think once this wind runs out, it gets no more winding.
The Annual Boxing Day Board Games Day at Janne-Maree’s house was lots of fun. Not as many games were played this year (Outburst!, Celebrity Heads, and Balderdash), as the unveiling of the 5.1 surround system occurred with a screening of “The Rock” after much deliberation.
It ended early in comparison to prior years, because universally everyone just seemed to be a whole lot more tired this year. Even me, who has had an extra few hours up on what I normally have this time of year (considering I was awoken yesterday at 7am rather than the usual 4am).
I keep thinking tommorow is Monday because we’ve just had two big holiday days. Grandfather’s 70th birthday tommorow night, and the next planned thing is our Lion King day trip on New Year’s Day. I’m excited.
