I watched a tremendous film today on SBS. Although it has 4 different names, The Ignorant Fairies is a film from Italy which is suprisingly well shot considering it isn’t exactly the most picturesque setting. The acting is fantastic too, but if you don’t like the old subtitles, its probably not that great for you. Maybe the US DVD has overdubbing or something.
I have to go before I throw up from watching the most awful childrens television under the title of “Snobs”. Please, australia, switch off and done encourage the fools.

I want Heather’s section for

I want Heather’s section for the Maths: The Musical book now! I was promised by the end of this week and it’s already tuesday and its not on my desk(top). Fathers with shotguns: Agh!
I read an entire book on music notation to ensure that the Maths score was up to scratch (and now it is), yet i’m still waiting on Heather’s section of the book and another quote for the back cover by Vuje.
I want to get the book off to hopefully get a copy intime for my university interview.
It’s all about me today.

Hi kids!
All of my English (Advanced) studies are over (i still have extention 1), and that’s a good, but someone rare feeling. I can’t beleive in only three weeks I’ll be off for 3 months! Fantastic!
I finished the Maths: The Musical book today. I am not going to offer it for sale until they (cafepress.com) start with the full paperback binding. I’m hoping it will be soon because I have gotten notification that I have an interview for my university course on the 3rd of December, and it’d be impressive to be able to show them a copy (its a music course).
Anyway, thats about it. Next exam - Maths. I’m really not all that concerned about it - I know that Maths isn’t one of my greatest subjects, and because only 10 of my 12 units count, Maths may be the 2 units that are disregarded. Its important to elect it, however, because some university degrees, such as primary school teaching require it as a prerequisite. Just leaving my options open.
Leave a comment or something… bye!

Us year 12s get a
4:01PM, October 20th, 2003
Us year 12s get a little crazy this time of the year with a little number I like to call the HSC. Yes, it makes us all lose sight of reality for a little while as we bury our heads, rather hurried futile efforts, to get a good result for the exams that are worth 50% of our final mark. For example, I started to have a shower with my underwear still on. Not on purpose, obviously. Let’s just pause as you rock yourself to sleep with that image kids.
I had hoped to get some sleep last night so I would not be tired for today, but I only managed 6 1/5 hours to awake at 5, yes 5 AM! How crazy. Anyway, the stress really set in at school as I went through several waves of nausea. The whole thing was running behind schedule by almost an hour, which meant that it was well into lunchtime before we were released at the end of the exam, which was particularly painful due to the fact that my stomach was bone dry thanks to nerves.
Sitting in the exam, despite the strange faces and the rather vague man who seemed to be running the whole she-bang, it just felt like any other exam. There I was with my questions, and I had two hours to answer them. I was kind of hoping to ‘break a booklet’ (for those not in the know, a booklet is 8 generously spaced lined paper for answers), but alas, I did not, but I did use 7 pages for one question. I remember thinking “I got nervous about this?
The exam itself wasn’t too troubling, if you knew your stuff. Nothing really threw me, and it only asked for “at least ONE related text”, so I rather cleverly stuffed another in for good measure. Writing speeches in place of the essays are usually not good for me, but I think I did pretty well in this one. Knock on wood.
My creative task was a bit stretched. I had two images I wanted to work in… the dust dancing in front of the bulb of a projector, and a piano, and I did both.
Well, next exam is english paper 2 on wednesday. That’s much harder as it relies on a lot more knowledge. I’ll study hard tommorow.
Okay, back to an almost normal eating routine now.
