Okay, well I couldn’t blog

11:08AM, November 30th, 2002

Okay, well I couldn’t blog yesterday because my net went a little crazy, but i’m here now.
The movie was good. Really good. I particularly liked Kenneth Branaugh (however it is spelt). If you are one of those people who just thinks that Harry Potter will offer them nothing, you should at least try a movie or a book, because they are thoroughly enjoyable to almost all who gives them a go.
I am so sure I had lots to right, but I have completely forgotten all about them. Maybe it has something to do with the comment deficiency. Bye

Got home from school a

5:15PM, November 28th, 2002

Got home from school a little while ago, and have to head out again soon. This time to Ben P.’s birthday dinner. We are going early to watch the sunset, which should be really nice.
I slept with the window open the other night (because it was sooooooo hot and I couldn’t sleep), which is really bad if you suffer from hayfever, like I. So over the last few days, i’ve been paying for it. This morning is was particularly bad, and I was sneezing and blubbering quite a lot. I took a cold and flu tablet and took off to school. Unfortunately, I had forgotten to see if I had taken a night or day one. Thankfully, it was a day one, other wise I would have surely collapsed in one of my classes.
Which reminds me, I want a couch in this room. I just think it would be comfortable. When I get tired when doing homework, I have a tendancy to lie down on the floor wherever I happen to be. Usually under my desk. Now, I just think this action would be more beneficial if I had a couch, and it didn’t cause me great pain to lay on this uncomfortable floor.
During sport today I went op-shopping with Laura. I picked up some bargain records (Camelot, My Fair Lady, Sound of Music and Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 1), as well as a groovy TV. I thought it was a worthwhile buy, because I have too many long sleeve shirts in comparison to short sleave, and I liked this one.
In Business Studies today, all commerce teachers were off busy with a planning meeting or some such thing, so we were left to work by ourselves. However, Carla decided she was bored and wanted to go for a walk. So she asked me if we could go for a walk. I said no. She asked, more insistantly. I said no. She started, and continued to beg and plead for a good 10 minutes, fake crying all the time. By the end of it, real tears were emerging and she was getting angry that I was making her laugh and cry at once. Ahh, I tend to have that affect on people.
Going to see Harry Potter 2 as a whole school excursion tommorow. Even though it isn’t much of a whole school. The number decrease steadily from year 7 up to our year, which only has 7 people going.
Anyway, off to do other various things. Bye

So - now I have

7:14PM, November 27th, 2002

So - now I have to blog. See the pain you people put me through? It’s remarkable how very little I have to blog about. Instead, go and listen to your favourite song and and stop wasting your time reading me who has nothing to say on this particular day. Bye

Today was another really hot

4:33PM, November 26th, 2002

Today was another really hot day. It started off in the library, as most tuesdays do, pretending to do work. Ashley played me the new Mariah Carey single, which wasn’t bad at all, until it got to the remixes, which were just embarrassing. What i’d like to know is, why did they decide to go for tacky, synthesised drums and piano in the first version, yet brought in a string section for an awful remix. Listening to all four versions of the song reminded me very much of that episode of Bette Midler’s tv show, “Bette”, where she decides to branch out into lots of styles, only to later realise the song she was supposed to perform (”Color of Roses” by Beth Nielson Chapman) is actually very beautiful in its original form.
Anyway, then onto business studies which was a whole lot of very little. After recess, we had drama, and played an improvisational game for a full hour and a half. It was great, because we just kept on playing the scenes the entire time, not stopping. That went a little into lunch, and for the entire lunch, I stood in line trying to buy an Icee (Mr. Icee came to our school). Just before the bell went I got my Icee. But that was okay because I had a free afterwards, in which myself, Carla and Lu went into town. A man swore loudly at us and we found a cool Charlie Brown playing double bass (or maybe cello) statue. And then maths.
Last night about twelve of us headed out to Chilis for dinner. We had a great time talking and what not. It turns out it was to celebrate quite a few of our birthdays. Anyway, before I have too much fun telling you all the events of my life, I shall depart. Bye

After the a small glimpse

3:38PM, November 25th, 2002

After the a small glimpse of rain and a thunderstorm last night (when I went swimming, which was very cool), today it was hot again. Trying to pay attention and take notes at a lecture on post modernism during the heat today was not good. *sigh* My sacrifices for knowledge. If you read this blog much, you should know that tommorow is my good day, school wise. Something to look forward to. Also, it is AJ’s birthday tomorrow, so a few of us are going out for dinner tonight at Chillis. I have to learn to hold back at Chillis. Although, going with friends will do that, as I am much more conservative a eating when other people are around. That’s why many people claim I don’t eat. But I do, I promise you.
I really should have more to say, but not that much is happening in my life at the moment. I am very boring - I just come home and do work before sleeping. I had an idea for a new website concept, but I just don’t know if I could be bothered redesigning it and all. And I have kinda grown attached to my brown disposition. I’ll put on a CD. Hows that for a compromise? Eh, but that takes decisions.
I’ll probably get IMs asking which CD I chose. Although, my site is no where near as popular as some people beleive. In fact, I have little evidence to state that I have many regulars at all. Something else calls. Not sure what yet, but I’ll be ready to answer it. Bye
