Another good Thursdays are good

4:01PM, October 31st, 2002

Another good Thursdays are good days for me, as I work hard all morning up until the end of lunch. You see, I have pretty much straight classes all through, as recess is devoured by Yastreboff, and lunch is taken up by 4Unit English. Anyway, during the junior’s sport time, I went shopping with Kit, Tom and Laura and bought some books I needed for school. Kit, Laura and myself all needed a hardback notebook as our journals for 4 unit. Laura went to a different store, and the cheapest they had was $10, and Kit and I found ours on sale for $2.60. Granted, it is from the early nineties, and the surfing pictures on the front can only be described as “Gnarly!” and “Tubular!”, but i’ll cover that over.
Now, there is a lot of people using those secret admirer websites (and people are entering my email address to check if it was me), or I actually have a secret admirer according to this email. Now we both know the latter isn’t true for two reasons: 1 - It just wouldn’t happen or 2 - I *WISH* some of my admirers were secretive. Now, I *could* go and enter everyone’s email address I know and see what happens. But i’m not that desperate. Besides, who knows what lists my “secret admirer” has enlisted me on that will now start sending me creepy stuff, so I won’t pass on that favour for everyone else I know. And besides… its the internet.
Lastly, I have been trying to cut down on the amount of chocolate I eat, because quite frankly, I think I could kill a small pony with the amount of cocoa in my veins. I started this quite a while ago. I switched from having Chocolate cake with chocolate icing for recess, to a chocolate donut. Now, as of today, I made the switch to scones, which have, as far as I am informed, no chocolate in them. However, I still eat chocolate icecream, and cocoa Nutri-Grain (not that nice). But the scone thing is working out nicely for me. Oh, and I don’t have cream or jam on my scones either. Just plain. The sacrifices I make for my health are incredible. If only I used that power for good in the world. Anyway, I have to go and do something or other. Bye

12 days till my birthday,

5:02PM, October 30th, 2002

12 days till my birthday, people. Exciting, I think so.
Last night was interesting, for what it was. I was definately suprised it was not as polished as it could havebeen. But I found the performance space itself very interesting (although the tech crew could clearly be heard chatting in a rafter above). It was a very unusual choice for a straight drama group to perform, being a musical, and because of that, I don’t think it was quite showcasing their abilities like something else might have. Beautiful baby grand was on stage, and Lisa played the entire score on it extremely well. But we had a great time, our drama class at school, that is. But now I am trying to plough through homework so I can go for a walk later tonight. Mmm. love daylight savings time. A whole extra hour of daylight for us all. Anyway, I still have homework to do, and plenty of it, so I’ll write a longer blog when I have more time (maybe this weekend). I also have a few people to e-mail. Bye

I am heading out to

5:16PM, October 29th, 2002

I am heading out to see the nearest University and their creative arts first year students perform West Side Story tonight. It should be interesting - its a production with no set, no costume etc, and is presented in “concert style”, even though there will be movement and dances and what not. But sounds good none the less. I am going with most of our drama class for a little mid-week excursion. It starts at 8, and it is now about quarter past 5. That leaves me 2 hours and 15 minutes to do everything I need to do and hop in the car and get out there. You may think, aw, thats plenty of time, but for me, it never is. I was *going* to come home and do homework straight away, for that to happen I would have had to have started over an hour ago, and that just didn’t happen. Anyway, I have to have dinner, do homework and all the rest of the shibang in time. It’ll be a struggle for me. Anyway.. stop distracting me… homework. Bye

Well, she did it again.

8:29PM, October 28th, 2002

Well, she did it again. Our principal found the most innappropriate way to disclose to the whole school, that she does, indeed, have a carrot lodged up her rectum. Our new school captain was giving an announcement for someone at the school assembly, wearing full school uniform, as well as a small, and appropriate (however colourful) tie. And Mrs Mitchell decided it was in everyone’s best interest to be a royal bi-atch about it, and she said “You can take the tie off now, Heather. I don’t want any more rebellious behaviour”. The comment was not only delivered with the carrot almost extruding the top of her mouth, but she said it in a fashion that made the previous announcement regarding a discussion group for those against war in Iraq, seem frivilous. She then went on to say, “Heather, our new school captain, who is currently out of uniform”… And thats where I declared what I thought of her more publically. Honestly, if it were me, I would have decked her with the biggest bitch-slap that had ever come out of one so small. I can do a Sonic the Hedgehog power build up thingy. Kinda like the hulk, but with better acting (everytime I hear Eric Bana’s “american accent” i think of all those sketches he used to do on a show over here where he would play wanky-yanks, like personal trainer guys).
Anyway, time to go and do something else. Bye

I believe boring “away” messages

9:24PM, October 27th, 2002

I believe boring “away” messages on AIM should be banned. C’Mon guys, think up something original, and write your own!
My brother borrowed this strange CD from the CD Library that is something like a “songs inspired by” of the Batman and Robin TV show of the 60s. Featuring the Hammond B-3 Organ and lots of high piercing guitar work. Groovy beats, chickens.
Anyway, off for shower/bed and other various things. Bye
