Thats it! Thats the last

5:13PM, September 19th, 2002

Thats it! Thats the last of my exams for year 11! My final two today were computers and drama practical. Drama went well I beleive because I was nicely between time, remembered my monologue fine, although it cost me 40cents because in rehearsal I accidently ate the sandwhich I was supposed to use for performance, so I had to go and buy two peices of bread from the canteen. Anyway, other people’s monologues were very good also. As usual, Becky’s was a hilarious. She played an american hobo, with a really rich queens accent. Wonderful. And trying to teach aliens about the difference between soup, and Andy’s painting of the campbell soup. The computers was a slightly different matter as I think i’ll be dropping it, so I didn’t care what I got in the exam, and it isn’t a real computers course - the content is a joke, and no one in the class was interested at all. Most people finished the 2 hour exam in one hour. I had to keep on moving my table as I was sitting next to the window and the sun was too hot.
I came home this afternoon, and walked in this room and it purely stank! I checked around looking for dead things, or something rotten, but I spoke to my dad and he said it was the dried out drain from the bathroom, so he ran some water through it, and I am burning incense to try to dullen the hideous smell. Anyway, I should clean my room. Bye

Home stretch now. One more

4:46PM, September 18th, 2002

Home stretch now. One more day left. Today’s exams weren’t tooo bad. Economics was hard, but not as hard as we thought it was going to be. Only drama practical and computers (which I really don’t care about) tommorow. I suppose I should study. Bye

Well, it sucks to be

12:58PM, September 17th, 2002

Well, it sucks to be me. While others have finished all their exams, I still have 7 hours of them to go. I’ve only done 9 and half hours so far, so I still have quite a bit to go. And I have a really terrible spell of them too… Most of the heavy content courses - 4 exams in 2 days. Oh well. I had better study. Bye

SOOO much to talk about.

9:14PM, September 15th, 2002

SOOO much to talk about. I don’t know if I have the time as I *really* have to study for tommorow’s exam. Friday afternoon, I got home from the last english exam and called up Janne-Maree to wish her goodluck for the ACT Show, Henry. I get told that one of the leads, Christopher, was ill and in hospital. My name was in the barrel to be called up if he couldn’t make the shows, which seriously stressed me out. Not knowing whether I would have to go on stage in under 24 hours playing a part i’ve never seen before. Eeek. Anyway, typing up economics notes as I was at about 11pm on friday night, I go for a drink from my Phantom of the Opera mug, and over-swig and spill some on the keyboard. I immediately go to wipe it up, and just happen to press the right combination of keys to close word, and say no to saving the file. Darn. I lost a bit of work. First stage was shock, then disbelief, and then just grief. None the less, I stayed up till who knows when retyping it all back up again. I had to, incase I had to go onstage and didn’t have time to study. So, I wake up saturday and awaiting a phone call, kept studying like mad. I don’t get a call in the morning so I figure everything is okay, and start to relax. I called up and bought a ticket for that night (saturday night) and headed off to see the show. I sat with Min and Adam, and it was so interesting to watch the show without playing piano or not from the wings with those guys. I had to seriously stop myself from singing the songs, and had to hold back yelling at them for not having a strong enough bottom harmony. :) Anyway, after the show, chatting to Min, Adam, Janne-Maree, Greg, Michelle and the rest of the gang, up runs the director and asked what I am doing tommorow (sunday). I sigh and say nothing, and all of a sudden I am part of the stage crew for the final show, which is cool because its almost the only thing i’ve never done. After the show, Janne-Maree, Philip, Michelle, David and Adam F. head off to Michelle and David’s place where a round robin playstation car racing game begins. And now everyone knows I drive like a granny. Get home, go to bed. Sunday morning, wake up study desperately before going to the show. I know it sounds tacky, but I have found a new respect for stage crew guys because they work hard, and have a lot of fun. Afterwards was the party, which is ALWAYS fun as an ACT show. Ben P was there, and he always has me in hysterics, with Holly, our choreographer. The senior guys and I did a parody, in the true tradition of ACT, and also in the tradition, I managed to hurt myself. Nothing major this show, just grazed knees. But we got a great cheer and laugh, so its all worth it. And then the party died down and everyone dissipated. There is other stuff to my weekend I left out that wasn’t important, but thats just a brief overview. Anyway, study. Bye

Oy. I’ve just been out

8:33PM, September 13th, 2002

Oy. I’ve just been out to Chilis. I know its a wonderful experience to actually eat the food, but afterwards, not so wonderful. Although I could eat that garlic cheese bread all day Mmmmm. Whats wrong with me!? I just came back from eating an enormous meal and i’m still thinking about food. *sigh* I know what will stop that. Study. Oh, yeah.
My plan is to do as much now as I possibly can because that’ll prevent me from having to do it later. Right? Well - thats the theory anyway. I am going to see the ACT show, Henry, sometime, but not sure when. Maybe tommorow night? More reason for me to get my study done now. I hate study, I really do. It’s almost as bad as learning lines. Anyway, enough whinging, have to hit the books. Bye
