What a long day! Normally

4:34PM, January 31st, 2002

What a long day! Normally on thursdays, I would have 1 double, and 1 single period, and sport. Now I have 6 single periods and sport. Its such a long day. Period nine adds such a long time to the day. I’m getting home an hour later now, which really sucks. But I started my IT course at school which seems to be fine. Classic moment - someone had one of the computers say “STOP LOOKING AT PORN” really loudly everytime that person clicked on a program. During the middle of the teachers introduction, suddenly, this guys computer starts blaring out STOP LOOKING AT PORN.. Quite a classic moment in class. Everyone was in tears, even the teacher - to a degree, but he still got in trouble for playing with the computer while she was talking.
The new students in our year are quite nice (we have quite a few, but only met a couple). One of them, Gemma, I knew from ACT.
Anyway, after a long smelly bus trip and walk home, I’m here, but i’ve got plenty of homework to do, so… Bye

This blog marks my last

2:47PM, January 29th, 2002

This blog marks my last day of summer holidays for the year. :( And everything is falling apart! The little piece of metal that holds my mobile’s aerial in has fallen out, and needs to be glued back in. Also, my DVD drive is making funny noises and it will probably need to be replaced soon, but its alright *for now*. Agh! I can’t believe back to school tommorow.
As my sleep pattern is all screwed up, I tried to get little sleep last night, so I’d go to bed early tonight and sleep lots for tommorow. I beleive it is our year only tommorow at school, as we need our time tables and shturf like that. Ugh, I don’t want to go back. But in ten weeks, i’ll have two weeks off. Doesn’t sound too enticing or fair to me. Oh well. I’ve got two more years of this, then I am released free unto the world, doing whatever i can with whatever money i find in gutters. Oh yeh, looking forward to that! But then I may go to university, and thats just stupid - more years of study. Eh. Which reminds me, I must get my learners drivers license soon. I *should* have done it in the holidays. Or even before this year, when it was still FREE. Damn, I hate those money-mongering people taking my money. It now costs $25 for a book that used to be free, and $30 to take a test that was free to take before. I don’t understand this at all. I mean, its not like someone has to mark the test - its done at a computer. I think im being turned off by the whole *PEOPLE* idea. Anyway, even though I know she doesn’t read this, happy birthday to Ashley of Piccadilly Centre! Ahh, the laughs. Bye

Hey all. I can’t beleive

3:44PM, January 28th, 2002

Hey all. I can’t beleive tommorow is the last days of holidays. Then back to school. Worse yet, its year 11. First day of senior… Hrm… Not looking forward tot he HSC at all. Oh well, I’ll survive.. just. Anyway, I just finished watching Batman Returns, because its such a brilliant film. I would have loved to have seen the catwoman and batman relationship progress more, as it was supposed to have been until the ultra crappy script for batman forever was written. But eh. Bye

I was writing this blog

11:08PM, January 27th, 2002

I was writing this blog and was going to save it and post it tommorow, but i couldn’t be bothered, so i’m posting it now. So this counts for tommorows post if I don’t write one.
Today I bought a fan from the computer fair. Lovely and QUIET! I can hear every little noise the hdd makes now, its wonderful.
And as you know, I didn’t have much energy left for the dinner with Ben, but by the time I had spoofed all up, I had the energy again (funny how that happens). It was great to catch up with him again, and the other people from school. As we always do, we got into the Amigos argument, which is about whether or not a waiter at a resturant we went to was hitting on him. I think he was (which he WAS!). But now Ben just says that *I* wanted the Amigos guy… tsk tsk. Anyway, dinner with Ben was great, and we didn’t have a party because the venue fell through. :( I don’t think I could have stayed awake anyway.
On a sad note, please check out Houston, my ab fab host. He recently fell victim to a burgulary. Please support him, and donate if you can. Thank you. Bye

Well, I’m tired. But with

10:55AM, January 27th, 2002

Well, I’m tired. But with good reason. Its the day after Australia Day. The plan was to go into town with parents while they secure their spots in the harbour, while we got some dinner and I went off to Adam Bell’s place to watch the fireworks from his apartment building roof. Well, I wasn’t too hungary, so I went and got some mini doughnuts (yay!) which lived up to the standards. When I was a little hungry afterwards I walked around at the stalls and saw what they were selling. For Australia Day there was very little Australian food. No Sausage Sizzle. No Steak Sandwich. No Meat Pies. No Sausage Rolls. Instead, just stalls of Indian food and an american stall with chips and hotdogs. I got some chips and they were just crap. Tasted like plastic and they were hollow inside. Nothing like the good aussie fish and chips you get. Anyway, so they damped my evening a slight bit, and then I went off to Adams. Mmmm…. Good times! So we watched the fire works from the roof at 9, and then just mucked around watching Greg’s archives of embarrassing footage of people taped from Pot of Gold. And then I came home and went to bed around 4. No matter how quietly my mum tried to sneak, I woke up when she came into my room about an hour ago at around 10am. We are supposed to be going to the computer fair today.. that is if my brother wakes up. Also, I have a good-bye dinner with Ben P., director of Little Shop before he goes on tour with a TIE (Theatre In Education) group around Australia. If I haven’t passed out in the mean time. Bye
