Thanks to the ever increasing amounts of smoke from the bushfires in the air, most people are staying inside. So I decided to lay down the backing for a song that Min and I are going to hopefully sing. Its called ‘People Like Us’ from The Wild Party. It took me about 5 hours, as I had to learn it, write and record each track (and they were Piano, Strings, Trumpet, Flute, Saxophone, Timpani, Bass, Oboe and Drums), and then mix and make sure it sounds okay. I got lazy towards the end of it, so it becomes more and more solo piano as it goes on, but hey - I was kinda getting sick of it. If it becomes clear that the vocals won’t be recorded anytime soon, i’ll upload just the instrumental version first.
After that I moved onto another song, ‘Nowadays’ from Chicago. This is a really easy song, but I was getting tired, and it took me about 30 mins to an hour to record this one, ready for vocals. It is piano only. I’ll try and get that one up soon as well.. I hope you all appreciate this work. :) Bye!

Hey All.. I’m down on sleep for the second day in a row.. Ah yes, only in the holidays would I call 7 hours “down on sleep”. Well, its down from my usual 10 hours. :) Anyway, I went to Adam V.s place last night with Min. We watched some stuff on tv, and then at around 1:30 decided to record some dialogue from the musical they are writing. Well, I am now the first person outside the production team to play two of the characters. :)
In other news, I am currently in the process of switching hosts from my current ISP, to Houston’s server. Check out his site. He was very nice to let me have some space on his server to get around some problems I have been having using the current setup. So Thankyou! Bye!

WooHoo! I went shopping and I did well. First my brother and I went down to the library, but it was closed. On the way back, I passed this weird Cafe/Music store and something caught my eye. It was a DVD of the original Little Shop of Horrors film from back in 1960. I taped this off PayTV, but I just *had* to have this ultimate b-grade on DVD. And besides, it was only $10. So I got it. As we were walking through the mall, I went to two CD shops.. No one had anything I wanted, so I went to one final one. I found some CDs of The Pajama Game and West Side Story that interested me. They were new recordings (1998) of each show, and had great casts, so I bought them both, for $18.95 each.. Bargain! So, I left with 2 new CDs and a DVD for under $50! I shop gewd! :) I am still saving most my moolar for Allans Music in Sydney though - I can’t wait!!! Bye!

This is sooo bad. I’m sitting here at around 1am. I should be in bed. What am I doing? Downloading MP3s. I only came online around 2 hours ago to check my e-mail. But here I am. Still sitting here at 10 past 1. And I’m going shopping early this morning. During sales. I dunno if I could handle that. Well, this one SAYS that its only got 6 minutes something to go before it’s downloaded, but I know the truth.

Righteo.. Some changes to the site to note… Firstly, I have added more to the Pictures section. I have added pics to the Cam Gallery, Theatre, and Friends pages. I will work on Drawings later, and also, *puhlease* send in some fan signs of yourself that I can post up. :) Also, I added a webring, which is located to the left of the blog. Go wild with that.
