Ugh.. today was very slow
3:48PM, October 31st, 2001
Ugh.. today was very slow and boring. In class, I played 3 games of Battleships. One being a revolutionary new system involving 4 players. Didn’t work out to well, but oh well. I won every game I played, so I am the Battleships champion. And no, I will not play a game with you on the internet at the risk of loosing. It’s just too precious a title to loose.
My year leader tracked me down and is making me write an entry essay to be a peer support leader for the new year 7ner’s next year. I didn’t do it in the first place due to lazyness, and confusion, and it’s like 2 weeks late now, but if she wants it, I’ll do one tonight. It’s worth it just to go on the year 7 camp with them.
More Little Shop Of Horrors rehearsals tommorow. There was an article on it in the paper. I’ll have to scan it in with the rest of the stuff I have to scan in when I get time. But now, I’m off. Bye

Well, here I am waiting
5:35PM, October 30th, 2001
Well, here I am waiting for my brother to return (as I was arriving home after rehearsals after school he was driving away). He is supposed to be making the cables for networking our computers together today. Time to join George and Stan together.
It wasn’t any where near as hot today. It was just nice, but it’s a bit overcast now. This morning we went to ‘Job Seekers Support’, where I took a computerised career adviser program. The top 5, in decending order, were Actor, Stage/Set Designer, Teacher - Art, Film, Stage and TV Director, and Graphic Designer. Freaky, huh. Others I had were Interior decorator, dance teacher, animator, lawyer, teacher - music and librarian. They are scary results.
Anyway, I’ll be off. Bye.

How STINKINGLY hot was it
4:17PM, October 29th, 2001
How STINKINGLY hot was it today! Wowee! Our bus on the afternoon was like a sauna, thats a quick way to loose weight! It was incredible. Well, I’m currently working on networking this and my brother’s computer. We have the cards, and he is bringing the crimper home from work tommorow to make up some cables.
And I didn’t realise, but it is only 2 weeks to my birthday. I thought it was more. Thats a bit of a shock, because it also means I’m performing Little Shop in just over two weeks - eeep! And that my school certificate is on in 2 weeks. Agh!
But after that it’ll be relaxing. The only performance I have after that is that I am in the vocal ensemble for Carols By Candlelight at Lang Park. That’s always heaps of fun. But I’ll go now. Bye

George is back. I’d like
3:08PM, October 28th, 2001
George is back. I’d like to say better than ever, but it would be a lie. But none the less. As usual. Hours of work has paid off - George is back at any resolution I want, with DVD and soundcard working beautifully. Damn. He always does this. How can I hate him now? Ugh. But as my friend said, when comparing my computer to George from Seinfeld, “Yeh - they both only pretend to work”. I’ll make sure he doesn’t try and build a bed under my table.

George is in sooo much
12:49PM, October 28th, 2001
George is in sooo much trouble. He mustn’t have liked his new name. Soon after he was christened, he went ballistic. I was planning on watching a dvd with some friends last night, so I thought I would warm him up, and test it out. Of course, it didn’t work (although it did earlier this week - and nothing has changed since). I spent about 3 hours working on it last night, and still today. The best I have at the moment is turning on the computer and getting into windows with 640×480 in 16 colours. And that is with no DVD, no soundcard. This sucks completely. Why George? He doesn’t like me. What if I threaten him with a sledge hammer? I hate George today. And yesterday. And no doubt tommorow also. I just don’t understand him. He does this for no reason whatsoever. Like, it will be working one second, completely up the proverbial creek the next. Oh well. At least it’s booting at this moment. Bye
